Doug E. Fresh to perform for Pump Foundation
The 26 Annual Harold & Carole Pump Foundation Celebrity Dinner to be held on August 20th
LOS ANGELES– The Harold & Carole Pump Foundation today announced that legendary sports agent Dennis Gilbert and philanthropist and trial lawyer Nick Rowley will be honored with the Humanitarian Award at the 26th annual celebrity dinner on Thursday, August 20 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. The event will celebrate their commitment to health advocacy and philanthropy and recognize their efforts to raise awareness and uplift communities. Legendary rapper and producer Doug E. Fresh will also perform.

“Dennis Gilbert and Nick Rowley have dedicated their lives to lifting others up, and we’re proud to honor them with this year’s Humanitarian Award,” said Dana Pump. “Their generosity and commitment to making a difference reflect the spirit of our foundation and the legacy of our parents.”
Gilbert’s commitment to giving back includes serving as Founder and Chairman of the Professional Baseball Scouts Foundation, which has raised millions for financially vulnerable scouts and their families. He also financed the development of the baseball field at Southwest Community College, has served on MLB committees for salary arbitration and player diversity and has been the Special Assistant to the Chairman of the White Sox since 2002. Most recently, he was named Commissioner of Perfect Game and founded the Believe in Baseball Foundation to support underprivileged players. He was previously a sports agent from 1979-2000 and has been in the life insurance business since 1972, building a legendary legacy in two industries.
Rowley is a dedicated philanthropist and advocate. He co-founded Trial By Human, a nonprofit program aimed at enhancing trial skills for plaintiff lawyers. His humanitarian and philanthropic efforts extend internationally, including funding and constructing educational centers and helping underserved communities and nonprofits in the United States, Costa Rica, Kenya and Bhutan.
