| THURSDAY’S CARD AT SANTA ANITA PARK CANCELED AFTER 5TH RACE DUE TO POWER OUTAGE ARCADIA, CA (June 11, 2026)—Santa Anita Park on Thursday was forced to cancel its racing program following the fifth race due to a power outage. The power failure affected parts of the west side of the building that included the broadcast production and production truck. The system was briefly restored by a back-up generator but that also failed. Due to the cancellation of Thursday’s remaining races, the $1 Pick 3 that started with the fourth race and the $2 Daily Double that began with the fifth race will have consolation payouts. There will be refunds in the $2 Pick 6, late Pick 5, late Pick 4, All-Turf Pick 3, Pick 3 that began in the fifth race and the Super High 5. Live racing will resume as scheduled on Friday at Santa Anita. First post is at 1 p.m. PT for a nine-race card. |
