The FIFA World Cup 2026™ excitement continues to build in Los Angeles as the knockout round action has officially kicked off at Los Angeles Stadium. The region is now preparing to welcome global powerhouse Spain, led by breakout star Lamine Yamal, taking on Austria in the Round of 32 on July 2.
Last week, Los Angeles wrapped up the Group Stage with the U.S. Men’s National Team’s final match against Türkiye on June 25, where despite drawing a passionate sea of red, white, and blue, the U.S. fell 3-2 in a hard-fought contest. On June 28, Los Angeles kicked off the Round of 32, marking the start of the tournament’s high-stakes elimination rounds, where Canada defeated South Africa 1-0 in dramatic fashion to claim a spot in the Round of 16.
