CIF-SS AND PENN RACQUET SPORTS ANNOUNCE TWO-YEAR PARTNERSHIP EXTENSION

LOS ALAMITOS – The California Interscholastic Federation-Southern Section (CIF-SS) and Penn Racquet Sports have announced the signing of a two-year renewal agreement with Penn as the Official Tennis Ball of the section. The partnership is effective immediately for the next two boys and girls tennis seasons through 2028. “Our partnership with Penn reflects a shared commitment to excellence in high school tennis,” said CIF-SS Commissioner of Athletics Mike West. “Penn Tennis Balls have earned the confidence of players and coaches for their consistency and performance, and we are excited to continue providing that championship-caliber experience for our student athletes over the next five years.” Penn’s newly launched, Pro Penn Marathon+, a long-lasting premium tennis ball specifically designed for consistency and longevity for high performance, will be the exclusive tennis ball for the CIF-SS, CIF SoCal and NorCal Boys and Girls Regional Tennis Championships. Its new TrueBounce technology allows for a consistent high performance experience, while the proprietary Encore+ rubber core technology retains the pressure inside the ball for a prolonged period, and the extremely durable and highly visible Long Play+ and SmartOptik 360 woven felt extends the overall life of the ball, making it a popular choice for varsity tennis. “CIF Southern Section has long been an outstanding partner, and we’re excited to continue working together to elevate the experience for studentathletes across the region,” said Allison Barnett, Communications Director for HEAD Penn Racquet Sports North America. “With the introduction of Pro Penn Marathon+, we’re bringing our newest tennis ball innovation to championship competition, giving players the consistent performance and durability they deserve.” 10932 PINE ST.
