26th Annual Collision Rosters Finalized

D-1 Recruits Decorate Girls SS Roster

                    Admittingly, Collision All Stars Founder and Director Kenneth Miller conceded it is growing increasingly more challenging to attract the most talented players from the Los Angeles City Section and Southern Section for its annual showcase that unfolds for the 26th time on April 11th at St. Bernard High School in Playa Del Rey.

                   “The landscape of basketball has been altered tremendously since we launched a quarter of a century ago. Student-athletes have become more selfish and self-centered, parents more ambitious in chasing the dream of riches in college or professional basketball, and the multi-billion dollar grassroots circuit greedier,” Miller released in a state following the practices on April 9 at St. Bernard.

                   Collision 26, A Tribute to LeBron James, with the theme “More Tan An Athlete” will feature four confirmed D-1 players, all on the girls Southern Section rosters and not a single signed recruit on the boys side for probably the first time in history.

                   That certainly does not indicate there will not be D-1 talent on the floor for the boys, quite the contrary, so this will be their best opportunity to make that statement. In 2025 Collision produced MVP Caleb Versher of St. Bernard to the University of San Diego.

                   This year the boys game will be highlighted by Leuzinger’s Aiden McIntyre who scored 1000 points in his career and St. Paul’s Will Bryson III who scored 68 points in a high school a game and averaged 31 points per game. Both are unsigned seniors on the Reggie Morris Jr. coached Southern Section team. Others on the SS team are JoSahn Webster of Rolling Hills, Obinna Fidelis  and Jordan Ballard (St. Bernard), Jeremiah Graham (Long Beach Poly) and Redondo Union’s All Bay League standout Devin Wright.

                  The team will be coached by Jamal Hartwell of Fairfax and will feature two of his stars Domonick Bowie and Jimi Osiname; Tylen Singletary (Huntington /ALL CITY D3  1000 points);

AJ Bobic (San Pedro, All City Open) Robert Winn lll (Sylmar All City D-2 Co POY); Laran Coleman and Darius Cater  of Crenshaw;  Jayshawn Kibble  (Washington Prep/ Coliseum League MVP All City Open); Damian Cartwright (Garfield)  Andrew Pons (Sylmar All City D2) and Khaeden Grady-Asher  (Westchester ’25 Open Champ, and Western League MVP)

The boys game starts at 3p.m. and will be preceded by the Jim Harrick Lifetime Achievement presentation for former Crenshaw High, LSU and NBA player John Williams.

The Girls game will begin at 5p.m. and is decorated with four D1 recruits oin the Southern Section side.
