The Chargers and Steelers are underway in Pittsburgh.

Here are quarter-by-quarter updates from Week 3.

Justin Herbert, Derwin James, Denzel Perryman, Rashawn Slater, Bud Dupree and Bradley Bozeman were the Chargers captains. The Steelers won the toss and elected to defer as the Bolts started on offense at their own 30-yard line. Both offenses went three-and-out to begin the game as each defense set an early tone. The Bolts offense was hampered by a bad snap and holding call as they went three-and-out on their second possession. Khalil Mack notched a sack on Pittsburgh’s second series as the Steelers punted it away on fourth-and-18. The Bolts offense got moving on their third series as they moved into Steelers territory with a pair of first downs. The Chargers then struck first as Herbert hit a wide-open Quentin Johnston on a 27-yard TD pass to open the scoring.
