The LA Lounge, which continues to impact Inglewood communities by hosting events with high impact has done it again with a luncheon that brought awareness to Breast Cancer and survivors.

Recently, the members only cigar establishment located in Inglewood hosted breast cancer survivor Sharon Robinson during its luncheon.

“This is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, so what would it mean if we didn’t actually engage ourselves in to helping in any way that we could?,” asked LA Lounge owner Aaron Moore.

The event was organized by Lounge women members Temecia Citizen and Shynella LaBostrie, Tony Wafford and with the help of support staff.

Organizers decorated the lounge in pink and also had members wear T-shirts highlighted with pink writing.

“This is what we do,” Moore declared. “We want to help as many people as we can, but if we can just impact a few, it is much better than not impacting none.”

Robinson spoke to an audience of women on how to be aware of the early signs and her personal experience on how she became one of the fortunate one to survive.

Next on the LA Lounge agenda is Thanksgiving when they play on providing fully cooked meals for free to many community members and those less fortunate.
