Six D-1 Recruits to challenge 9 All City girls at 24th Annual Collision All Star Game

The Los Angeles City Section will field a team with nine All City Section Open Division standouts when they collide with the Southern Section that will feature five Division 1 recruits at the 24th annual Collision All Star Games on Saturday April 13 at Pius X St Matthias Academy on April 13 at 4p.m.

Collision, which is conducted under the format of Los Angeles City Section versus Southern Section, will stage both a girls and boys game that will be presented as a tribute to the late Kobe Bryant.

Leuzinger High’s Bo Corona will piloted the Southern Section girls which will feature his own dynamic duo of  the 6-foot Dresha Moore (US San Diego) and the 5’10 Maddison Watts (Loyola Marymount University), in addition to Sierra Canyon’ sharp shooter Christy Reynoso (California State University Long Beach), Ontario Christian’s Amanda Ajobiewe (Georgetown) and Redondo Union’s Ella Zimmeron (Portland University). Rounding out the roster will be; Dylan Tse   (South Pasadena); Long Beach Poly’s Brooklyn Taylor  (Cal State Bakersfield); Orange Lutheran’s Shea Joko  (Pomona Pitzer); Brentwood’s Jocelyn Pascual ; Bishop Montgomery’s Tiara Jones (Cal State Dominguez),  Karsen Marshall  of  Ontario Christian and Pius X St Matthias Academy Calista Romero complete the roster. 

King Drew’s Dameion Williams and Westchester’s EJ Jackson will coach a loaded City team led by Co-Open Division Player of the Year Samantha Velasquez (Birmingham ) and Devyn Berry (Birmingham); Three other schools will have two  representatives including All City Open Division honorees Mariah Blake of Westchester (Cal State Los Angeles) and  Serenity Johnson; Anayla Anderson King Drew; Karma Paez;  Crenshaw’s duo of Sarah Ramos and Naomi Whitfield; and Palisades’ Aniah Bradley; King Drew’s Christiuana Taylor, San Pedro’s Noelani Raigans and Granada Hills Brigita Bulotaite round out the City girls team.

The 24th Annual Collision All Star Games is sponsored by Our Global Humanity Inc. non-profit in association with 5120 Entertainment. 

The boys rosters will be coached by Pius X St Matthias Academy Donte Archie (Southern Section) and Jovante King of Washington Prep (City Section). Teams are yet to be finalized. The double header will begin at 4pm with the girls game and the boys game is scheduled to tip off at 6pm. Tickets for the event are a $15 donation and only available at the door.
