Food Handler Safety Training Card Program – Southern Nevada Health District

Applicants who have previously had a Food Handler Card or Health Card in Clark County, NV, regardless of when it expired, are considered renewals.

• In-Person Renewal
  Renewal applicants will need to schedule an appointment if choosing or if required to take the food safety test at one of our locations.
• Online Renewal
  Renewal applicants may be eligible to renew online. Click here to check eligibility. Your card number and expiration date will be needed.

The test consists of 10 multiple-choice questions. A passing score is 70% or better. After passing the test, the fee will be collected, and the three-year Food Handler Card will be issued. Valid identification that adheres to our ID policy must be presented for in-person testing.

Important: Due to space limitations, only the test applicant is permitted to enter. No children, family members or friends will be admitted.
