Coaches selected to represent the CIF Los Angeles City and CIF Southern Section at the 25th Anniversary Collision All Star Game on Saturday April 19 at St. Bernard High School in Playa del Rey are still dancing in the CIF Southern California Regional basketball tournament which began March 2nd.
MATT SERGEANT
Sherman Oaks Notre Dame led by Matt Sergeant will be playing in the boys Open Division semifinals against No. 2 seed St. Joseph on March 8. Sergeant was the 2004 Collision Scholar Athlete Award recipient and will coach the boys Southern Section team.
AUNDRE CUMMINGS
Aundre Cummings, the 2025 Naismith Girl’s High School Coach of the Year will pilot the top seed Ontario Christian girls in the Open semis against Sierra Canyon on March 8. Cummings, who for years has been instrumental in organizing of Collision, will coach the girls Southern squad that is expected to be loaded with D-1 talent.
Sherland Chensam
The girls City Section All Stars will be led by Hamilton’s Sherland Chensam who recently piloted the Yankees to the City Open title and has been at the helm for 10 seasons at Hamilton; and Sun Valley Poly’s Joe Wyatt advanced his team to the second round of the boys D-4 regionals, respectively. Poly will host Bernstein on March 6.

Levine will be on the sideline for the girls City team and Wyatt will coaches the City boys for the second time. Collision 25 will be especially special for Wyatt because he will coach his son JD Wyatt for the final time.
