It is clearly a remarkable achievement considering colleges have been investing more money in recruiting older players from the transfer portal instead offering high school student/athletes’ scholarships.

Fifteen players, including five boys, have pledged their commitments to Division-1 colleges, all of whom are representing the CIF Southern Section. Although, no CIF Los Angeles City Section players have committed to Division-1 colleges, there were 11 All City honorees and four City Player of the Year selections on the girls’ and boys’ teams, respectively.
